Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have made their marriage official—after obtaining a marriage license on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera.
According to marriage requirements for the Bahamas, a couple must be in the country for at least 48 hours, be over the age of 16 and have obtained a valid marriage license within 90 days, Monique Gomez, a Bahamian attorney in Nassau who specializes in family law, tells People magazine.
Carey obtained a license in Eleuthera within that time period.
